Soon after the New Year (2023) began, we headed to Mbarara City (in Uganda—about five hours’ drive southwest of Kampala) for our annual Women of Excellence conference (4^th – 7^th January 2023). This is a largely professional women’s conference.It went really well, with about 200 Christian women leaders in attendance. The theme of the conference was God’s searching question, “(Adam), Where are you?” (Genesis 3:9). It was challenging the conferees to listen to God challenging them to identify where they were in their relationships with Him and their lives as a whole. Lois gave several talks on various topics, including these: “The Christian Woman in God’s Word;” and “Spiritual Growth as a Christian Woman Leader.” Lazarus gave three Bible expositions on the Book of Genesis.He also preached in three worship services in All Saints Church (Anglican), one of the largest churches in Mbarara City. We thank God that a number of people gave their lives  to Christ A number of prominent Christian women, including two women justices of the Uganda High Court also attended this conference. One of these was Lady Justice Catherine Bamugemereire who is actually a judge with Uganda’s Supreme Court. She was the Guest of Honor and spoke on the topic, “A Christian Woman Leader in Society.
